What it is
Alarms notify you by SMS or email the moment a measured value crosses a threshold you set, so you do not have to watch the dashboard.
What you can set alarms on
Current, voltage, power and load on any breaker or group.
Earth fault and leakage current.
Temperature, and whether a controller stops transmitting.
How to set one up
Open Alarms and create a new alarm.
Choose the breaker, site or controller it applies to, then set the condition and threshold.
Set an active window if you only want it checked at certain times, then choose the recipients and whether they are notified by SMS, email or both.
Good to know
You can set different recipients per site, so the right person is alerted for each customer. Notifications can fire when an alarm is triggered, or both triggered and cleared.
