What types of partners does Hybird work with?
Hybird works with two types of partners: Energy Consultants, who sell Hybird Optimisation and Hybird Service to end customers, and Panel Builders, who integrate Hybird hardware into their own panel assemblies.

No. There is currently no joining fee. Partners earn commissions on the products and services they sell or refer.\

Products and services
What is the difference between Hybird Optimisation and Hybird Service?
Hybird Optimisation automatically shifts electrical loads to cheaper electricity periods, reducing a customer's energy costs. Hybird Service is a monitoring subscription that provides 24/7 oversight of a customer's electrical system, including alerts, remote diagnostics, and reporting.
Can I sell both Optimisation and Service?
Yes. Energy Consultant partners can sell both products. Commission structures differ for each - see the Referral and Commission Structure article for details.
Branding and materials
Can I use my own branding on Hybird products?
Hybird does not offer white-labelling of hardware or software. However, partners who actively sell Hybird Service contracts can request co-branded marketing materials (one-pagers, pitch decks, brochures) that feature both the Hybird and partner logos. Can I use the Hybird logo on my website?
Partners with an active agreement may reference their partnership with Hybird on their website. Please contact [email protected] for approved logo files and usage guidelines.
Commissions
How are commissions calculated?
Commissions are calculated as a percentage of the contract value. Rates vary by product and partner type. See the Referral and Commission Structure article for the current rates.
When do I get paid?
Commission payments are processed after the customer's service or optimisation contract is activated and the first payment is received. Contact your partner manager for specific payment timing.

Your partner manager is your primary contact. For general partner enquiries, email [email protected]. For technical questions, email [email protected].
Where can I find technical documentation?
Technical specifications, installation guides, and product documentation are available in the Hybird Help Centre, and from the Hybird Webshop. Your partner manager can also provide additional technical resources on request.

Energy Partner commercial model
Q: What commission do I earn on Optimisation?
A: Energy Partners do not earn commission from Hybird. You earn revenue by charging customers your own price (up to 50% above Hybird's base pricing) and keeping the margin. See the Partner Pricing Model article.
Q: Do I earn commission on Service?
A: Same model — you charge your own price to the customer and keep the margin. Hybird invoices you at base prices.
Q: What about referral introductions?
A: If you introduce a customer to a Certified Contractor, the Contractor earns their standard commission from Hybird. Your revenue comes from your own markup, not from a referral fee.
Q: How do I get paid?
A: Hybird invoices you monthly at base prices. You invoice your customer on your own terms. Payment to Hybird is due within 30 days.
Q: Can I white-label Hybird products?
A: No. Hardware white-labelling is not available, and the Hybird OS dashboard cannot be rebranded. You can co-brand marketing materials (pitch decks, one-pagers, case studies) with your logo alongside Hybird's, and use the "Powered by Hybird OS" tagline. See the Co-Labelling Policy article.
