Use this checklist after physical installation is complete to verify the system is fully operational.
Pre-power
All breakers securely mounted on DIN rail
All power wiring terminals tightened to recommended torque: 2 Nm for breakers rated up to 25A, 3.5 Nm for breakers rated 25-80A
Power wiring (phase, neutral, earth) correctly terminated
RS485 daisy chain complete - controller through all breakers using supplied wire (rated 110°C / 600V)
RS485 polarity (A/B) consistent at every point
Edge Controller mounted, network cable ready
PSU connected to protected 230V AC supply
UPS connected if fitted (3.7V / 20Ah Li-Polymer)
Enclosure rated for calculated heat load
Power on
PSU outputting 24V DC
Controller LED: purple during setup
Controller LED: blue (OFF/idle) or red (ON/active) once connected
No immediate breaker trips when circuits are energised
Connectivity
Controller appears in Hybird OS with recent "last seen"
Connection type (Ethernet/Wi-Fi/LTE) as intended
Breaker discovery
Breaker scan shows all installed breakers
All Modbus IDs unique
No missing devices
Data verification
Each breaker shows: voltage, current, power, leakage, temperature, state
Three-phase breakers show per-phase data
Voltage in expected range (\~230V single-phase)
Leakage at normal levels (below 5 mA typical)
Labelling
Every breaker labelled with descriptive circuit name in Hybird OS
Remote switching test
Test off/on via Hybird OS on one non-critical breaker
State change reflected within seconds
Customer handoff
Dashboard URL and credentials provided
