Data retention and export

This article explains how long Hybird retains your data and how you can export it.

What data is retained

Hybird retains all electrical measurement data collected by your breakers for the duration of your service contract and a reasonable period after the contract ends. This includes:

  • Per-breaker measurements (voltage, current, power, consumption, leakage, temperature) at their original measurement frequency.

  • Aggregated hourly consumption data.

  • Breaker state change history (on/off events).

  • Alert and event logs.

  • Controller status and uptime history.

Retention period

Measurement data is retained for the duration of your active service contract. After contract termination, data is retained for a limited period (typically 90 days) to allow for export requests and final reporting. After this period, data may be deleted.

Account information (name, email, site details) is retained as long as your account is active and for as long as necessary to meet legal and contractual obligations after termination.

Exporting your data

You can request an export of your data at any time. To request a data export, contact [email protected] with:

  • Your account name and site name(s).

  • The time period you want exported.

  • The data you need (all measurements, consumption only, alerts, etc.).

Data exports are provided in a structured format (typically CSV). For large datasets, delivery may take a few business days.

GDPR data portability

Under GDPR, you have the right to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format. Contact [email protected] to exercise this right.

Deletion requests

You may request deletion of your data. Hybird will comply with GDPR deletion requirements, subject to any legal retention obligations. Contact [email protected] for deletion requests.
