Historical consumption reports

Hybird OS stores all measurement data and provides historical consumption reporting at multiple time scales, as requested or configured by the users.

Available report periods

Consumption data is available at several granularities:

  • Hourly: Consumption in kWh for each hour. Useful for identifying peak usage times, correlating with spot prices, and understanding daily patterns.

  • Daily: Total consumption per day. Useful for week-over-week or month-over-month comparisons.

  • Monthly: Total consumption per month. Useful for billing reconciliation and seasonal analysis.

Report scope

Reports can be generated at different levels of the hierarchy:

  • Per breaker: Consumption for a single circuit.

  • Per controller: Total consumption across all breakers on one controller.

  • Per site: Total consumption across all controllers at a site.

What the data shows

Historical consumption data includes:

  • Consumption (kWh) per time period.

  • Average active power per phase.

  • Average and maximum leakage per period.

  • Measurement count (number of readings in the period · useful for identifying gaps).

Identifying patterns

Use historical data to identify:

  • Base load: The minimum consumption that occurs even during off-hours (night, weekends). This represents always-on equipment.

  • Peak demand: The hours with highest consumption. These are typically the most expensive hours for spot-price electricity.

  • Anomalies: Sudden changes in the consumption pattern may indicate equipment malfunction, added loads, or operational changes.

Exporting data
