Hybird OS displays live electrical measurements for every breaker in your system. This article explains how to view and interpret this data.
Accessing breaker data
Navigate to your site, then your controller, then click on the specific breaker you want to view. The breaker detail page shows all current measurements.
Real-time measurements
Each breaker displays the following live data, updated every few seconds:
Measurement | Unit | What to look for |
Voltage | V | Should be approximately 230V (single-phase). Sustained readings outside 207-253V may indicate a supply issue. |
Current | A | Indicates the load. Compare against the breaker's rated capacity. |
Active power | W | Real power consumption at this moment. |
Reactive power | var | Non-working power from inductive/capacitive loads. |
Leakage | mA | Earth leakage current. Normal is below 5 mA. Above 15 mA warrants investigation. |
Temperature | °C | Internal breaker temperature. Rises with load. Sustained high readings may indicate overload. |
State | on/off | Whether the breaker is currently closed (on) or open (off). |
Three-phase breakers
For 3P or 4P breakers, voltage, current, active power, and reactive power are shown separately for Phase A, Phase B, and Phase C. Total active and reactive power are also shown. This allows quick identification of phase imbalances.
Consumption totals
In addition to instantaneous measurements, the breaker page shows cumulative consumption (kWh) over 24 hours and 30 days. This gives a quick sense of the circuit's energy use without needing to pull a full report.
Interpreting the data
If you see unexpected values · for example, a lighting circuit drawing several amps when the lights should be off, or leakage increasing over time · refer to the relevant troubleshooting articles (High Consumption, Leakage Alarm) or contact support.
