This article outlines what customers, installers, and partners can and cannot do with Hybird systems.
Permitted use
Hybird systems are designed for monitoring and managing electrical circuits in commercial and residential installations. Permitted use includes:
Viewing your site's electrical data in Hybird OS.
Using remote switching to control breakers through the platform.
Generating reports on consumption and system health.
Allowing authorised installers to maintain and configure the system.
Prohibited use
The following are not permitted:
Tampering with hardware:Do not open, modify, or attempt to repair Hybird breakers, the Edge Controller, PSU, or UPS. Hardware modifications void the warranty and may create safety hazards.
Bypassing safety features:Do not disable, bypass, or override the breaker's overcurrent or earth leakage protection functions by any means other than the intended remote switching in Hybird OS.
Unauthorised access:Do not attempt to access Hybird OS accounts, sites, or data that you are not authorised to view. Do not share your login credentials with unauthorised persons.
Reverse engineering:Do not reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any Hybird hardware or software.
Exceeding specifications:Do not operate Hybird equipment outside its rated specifications (current, voltage, temperature, number of breakers per controller).
Resale without authorisation:Do not resell Hybird hardware or services without a partner agreement.
Installer responsibilities
Certified Hybird installers are responsible for:
Installing hardware in accordance with Hybird's installation guides and applicable electrical regulations.
Using only genuine Hybird components and approved accessories.
Commissioning the system correctly and verifying all breakers are operational before handover.
Not making modifications to hardware beyond what is documented in Hybird's technical guides.
Consequences of misuse
Violation of this policy may result in warranty voidance, service suspension, or termination of the customer or partner agreement. Hybird reserves the right to restrict platform access if misuse is detected.
