Hybird OS account security and access control

Access to the Hybird OS platform is controlled to protect your electrical system data and prevent unauthorised access.

How access is granted

Hybird OS accounts are created and managed by Hybird administrators. You cannot self-register for a Hybird OS account. Access must be granted by a Hybird admin, who will provide your login credentials during the onboarding process.

Each user receives their own login credentials. Do not share your credentials with others - if additional people need access to your site, request separate accounts for each person.

User roles

Hybird OS supports different user roles with different permission levels:

  • Admin: Full access to the site, including viewing data, remote switching, alert configuration, and user management.

  • Installer: Access to the sites they are responsible for, including data viewing, remote switching, and commissioning tools.

  • Read-only: Can view data and reports but cannot switch breakers or change configuration.

Account URL

Your Hybird OS login URL is provided during onboarding. Do not share your account URL publicly. Keep it within your organisation and authorised personnel only.

Revoking access

If an employee leaves your organisation or an installer is no longer servicing your site, contact Hybird support to revoke their access. Prompt revocation prevents unauthorised access to your system and data.

Reporting security concerns

If you notice any suspicious activity on your Hybird OS account - such as unexpected breaker switching, unfamiliar users, or data access you did not authorise - contact Hybird support immediately.
