How to override a scheduled action

If you need a load to run immediately - for example, if your building is too cold and the heating circuit is scheduled to be off - you can request an override.

What an override does

An override switches a specific breaker on (or off) immediately, regardless of the current optimisation schedule. After the override period, the system resumes normal scheduling automatically.

How to request an override

You have two options:

Option 1: Through Hybird OS

  • Log in to Hybird OS (on desktop or mobile).

  • Navigate to your site and find the breaker you want to override.

  • Use the remote switching control to switch the breaker on or off.

Note: your Hybird OS account must have switching permissions. If you do not see the switch control, contact your installer or Hybird support to request access.

Option 2: Contact support

If you do not have switching permissions, or if you need help identifying which breaker to override, contact:

Tell them which load you need turned on (or off) and they will action it remotely.

After the override

The optimisation schedule resumes automatically. If you find yourself needing frequent overrides, this may indicate that the optimisation constraints need adjusting - contact your installer or Hybird support to fine-tune the schedule.
