For Hybird Optimisation sites, breaker schedules are configured during commissioning to optimise electricity usage. This article explains how scheduling works and how to configure it.
How scheduled actions work
During commissioning, your installer configures a schedule that determines when each circuit is energised. The schedule is based on your actual operating requirements and consumption patterns · for example, ensuring heating is available during occupied hours, but de-energising non-essential circuits outside business hours.
The schedule is sent to the controller, which executes the switching commands at the appropriate times. No manual intervention is required · the process is fully automatic.
Configuring circuit schedules
During commissioning, each breaker is configured as either:
Scheduled: This circuit is energised and de-energised on a defined schedule. The schedule matches the circuit's actual operating hours.
Always on: This circuit must remain energised at all times (or follow a manual schedule). It is not scheduled for automatic switching.
This configuration can be changed at any time by contacting your installer or Hybird support.
Schedule parameters
For each scheduled circuit, parameters can be defined:
Minimum energised time: The circuit must be energised for at least a certain number of hours per day.
Required windows: The circuit must be energised during certain hours (e.g., heating must be energised from 06:00-08:00 for morning comfort).
Temperature constraints: For heating circuits, the schedule respects minimum and maximum temperature limits if temperature sensors are integrated.
Viewing the schedule
The current and upcoming schedule is visible in Hybird OS. You can see which breakers are scheduled to be energised or de-energised and when.
Overrides
If you need a circuit to be energised immediately regardless of the schedule, you can request an override through Hybird OS or by contacting support. The system will energise the circuit immediately and resume normal scheduling afterwards.
Adjustments
If the schedule is not meeting your needs · for example, if a building is too cold in the morning · contact your installer or Hybird support to adjust the constraints. The optimisation parameters are continuously tuneable.
