Your Hybird hardware has been installed by a certified installer. Here is what to expect over the coming days and weeks.
Commissioning
After physical installation, your installer commissions the system. This means they verify that all breakers are communicating with the controller, the controller is connected to the internet, and data is flowing to Hybird OS. Commissioning is typically completed on the same day as installation.
Onboarding call
Within the first couple of weeks of installation, you will receive an onboarding call from Hybird or your installer. During this call:
You will receive access to your Hybird OS dashboard, where you can view your site's energy data.
Your circuits will be reviewed and labelled clearly so you can identify what each breaker monitors.
Flexible loads and savings opportunities suitable for optimisation will be identified, discussed, and where suitable, configured.
Any preferences or constraints (temperature limits, scheduling windows, essential loads) will be discussed and set.
Eloverblik consent
To verify savings and compare your consumption against the grid baseline, Hybird uses data from Eloverblik (the Danish grid data platform). You will be asked to give consent for Hybird to access your meter data. This is done online through Eloverblik's consent process, and your installer or Hybird support will guide you through the steps.
First week
During the first week, the system collects baseline data about your site's consumption patterns. The Hybird breakers measure voltage, current, active power, reactive power, temperature, and leakage current for each monitored circuit, with readings taken every few seconds.
You may notice breakers switching on and off as the optimisation schedule takes effect. This is normal · the system is shifting flexible loads to cheaper electricity periods.
Ongoing
After the initial setup period, the system runs automatically. You can check your dashboard at any time to see real-time and historical consumption. If you have a Hybird Service subscription, you can also receive regular reports and proactive alerts.
