Site qualification
Your installer or energy consultant assesses your site's suitability for Hybird Optimisation. This assessment examines your electricity consumption profile and identifies flexible loads that can be optimised, including heating systems, ventilation units, cold storage facilities, electric vehicle charging, and ghost loads that consume power outside your normal operating hours. This detailed evaluation ensures Hybird is right for your site and establishes what can realistically be improved.
Proposal and agreement
Based on the site assessment, you receive a comprehensive proposal showing your estimated savings potential. Once you are satisfied with the proposal, you sign a service agreement with Hybird, formally committing to the optimisation service.
Hardware installation
A certified Hybird installer visits your site to fit the hardware into your electrical panel. The installer installs smart breakers (RCBO, MCB, or RCD models depending on your needs), the Edge Controller that manages all breakers, a Power Supply Unit (PSU), and optionally an Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) for resilience. Installation typically takes a few hours and is carried out by qualified electricians following our strict installation guidelines.
Commissioning
After hardware installation, the installer registers your system in Hybird OS, assigns Modbus IDs and descriptive labels to each breaker so they are correctly identified, and verifies that all breakers communicate reliably with the controller. Hybird Connect is priced at 49 DKK ex. VAT per month per installation (588 DKK per year, invoiced annually). This connectivity platform forms the backbone of your optimisation service.
Eloverblik consent
You grant Hybird read-only access to your electricity meter data through Eloverblik using MitID authentication. This data provides an accurate baseline of your pre-optimisation consumption against which we measure your savings, ensuring transparency and accountability.
Optimisation configuration
Your installer configures breaker schedules based on your site's operating hours and consumption patterns. The focus is on identifying ghost loads - equipment consuming power when not needed - and eliminating unnecessary consumption. Smart schedules ensure flexible loads operate only when economically beneficial, maximising your savings.
Go live
The system begins live operation. You can now access your Hybird OS dashboard to view real-time data, consumption history, and the current state of each breaker. You immediately gain visibility into how your electrical system is performing and how much energy you are using.
Ongoing monitoring
Your consumption is continuously tracked and compared against the baseline established before optimisation began. As patterns emerge in your usage, schedules can be refined and adjusted to further improve efficiency and savings. Hybird works continuously to optimise your system as your business evolves.
Support
Your certified installer is your primary point of contact for all questions and support needs. For escalated technical support or service inquiries, you can also contact Hybird directly at [email protected] or call +45 3020 4900. Our team is here to ensure your optimisation journey is successful.
Eligibility timeline
Customers become eligible for Hybird Optimisation once their Service installation is operational — typically 4–6 weeks after activation. At that point, the Contractor may provide information about Optimisation (including case studies). With the customer's explicit GDPR-compliant consent, Hybird contacts them directly to assess eligibility.
Direct Optimisation sales
The journey described above applies to customers introduced to Hybird through a Certified Contractor. Hybird may also offer Optimisation directly to customers with whom Hybird has an existing relationship, independently of the Contractor channel.
