To verify your possible electricity savings and compare your consumption against the grid baseline, Hybird needs access to your meter data through Eloverblik. This article explains what Eloverblik is, why Hybird needs it, and how to give consent.
What is Eloverblik?
Eloverblik is Denmark's official electricity data platform, operated by Energinet (the Danish transmission system operator). It holds detailed meter-level consumption data for every electricity meter in Denmark. You can access your own data at eloverblik.dk.
Why Hybird needs it
Hybird uses your Eloverblik data to:
Establish a baseline of your historical consumption before Hybird Optimisation was activated.
Compare your actual consumption after optimisation against the baseline to calculate verified savings.
Generate accurate savings reports that reflect your real-world performance.
Without Eloverblik consent, Hybird can still optimise your loads, but savings verification and reporting will be limited to the data from the Hybird breakers only, without the grid-level reference.
What data Hybird accesses
The consent gives Hybird read-only access to your hourly meter consumption data from the grid. This is aggregated consumption data from your electricity meter - it does not include any personal information, payment details, or information about your electricity provider.
How to grant access
Hybird requires a power of attorney (POA) to access your Eloverblik data. The process is:
Go to eloverblik.dk and log in with your MitID.
Navigate to the power of attorney (fuldmagt) section.
Complete the POA form, granting Hybird Energy access to your metering point(s).
Submit the form - this issues the POA back to the Hybird commercial team.
Your installer or Hybird support can walk you through this process. Once the POA is received, Hybird will activate the data connection and begin using your grid data for baseline and savings verification.
Revoking consent
You can revoke consent at any time through Eloverblik. Revoking consent will stop Hybird from accessing your grid meter data, but it will not affect the operation of your Hybird hardware or the optimisation of your loads.
Privacy
Hybird accesses your Eloverblik data solely for the purposes described above. The data is not shared with third parties and is stored in compliance with GDPR. For more details, see the Data Privacy article.
