Getting the Hybird mobile app · download and install

How to install the Hybird app on iPhone via the direct App Store link, what permissions it asks for, and what to use on Android.

Overview

The Hybird mobile app puts your panels on your phone. Installers and panel builders use it to scan, address and commission breakers; customers use it to see consumption, watch live measurements and switch circuits. This article covers getting the app installed. What you do with it afterwards is covered in Seeing your consumption in the Hybird app and Building and commissioning a panel with the Hybird app.

Install on iPhone

The app is installed through a direct link only · it does not appear in App Store search. This is deliberate. The link is the one way in:

  1. Open the link on your iPhone.

  2. Tap Get on the App Store page and let the install complete.

  3. Open the app.

Permissions

The app asks for camera access. The camera is used to scan breaker QR codes during commissioning. If you deny camera permission the app continues to function, but you will not be able to scan QR codes.

On Android

The app is iOS only · there is no Android version today. On Android, use Hybird OS in your phone's browser instead · see Mobile access to Hybird OS. Everything in the portal works from a mobile browser, including live data and switching.

Summary

Hybird for iPhone installs through the direct App Store link only. It asks for camera access to scan breaker QR codes during commissioning. On Android, Hybird OS in the browser covers the same ground.
